Tubes

Conner had surgery today to have tubes placed in his ears. He did really good. He cried for about 30 minutes after he woke up from the anesthesia. After that he was fine. He acted like nothing happened.

I love you

Conner said his first 3 word sentence today. I was changing his diaper and he looked up at me and said "I love you". It was the most precious thing I have heard.

Thank you

He is saying "Thank you" now. It is so precious. He knows he has to say "Peese" to get something. So, when I've been giving it to him I've just been saying "Thank you". Well, he's finally picked up on it.
He said it while visiting Aunt Laura the other day and came out sounding more like "doo doo". I knew what he was saying so I quickly translated...lol

Hot, hot, hot!

Conner now knows what is hot...lol
Today he saw a picture of fire on TV and said HOT, HOT, HOT. He even knows the oven is hot.

NO MORE BOTTLES!!!

We are officially off of the bottle. Conner hasn't had one since yesterday. He stayed with Meme and Aunt Kelsey Saturday while Billy and I went to the Alabama game. When we came home Meme said he had 2 "juice boxes" of strawberry milk. When we got home we tried it in his cups at home. He has been drinking like that ever since.

More Molars!!!

Okay, ya know how I posted that Conner was getting his first molar? Well, I was checking his mouth today and I saw his upper gums were swollen. I could feel the upper right side molar just under the skin. I felt on the left side and that one has already broken the skin. He also has one on his bottom right side just under the skin.
The one that I posted about was on his bottom left side. The good thing is he hasn't ran any fever and he hasn't been to terribly fussy! :o)

First Molar

I found Conner's first molar today! He was giving my sugar like he does with his wide open mouth and I saw it! :) Its not quite through yet, but its just right below his gums.

SHHH!!!

Conner can say "shhh" with his finger over his mouth. Its so cute. We were in Sears today and I heard him make a noise, it was him shhing. I looked at him and did it, then he did it back to me. PRECIOUS!!!

Walking...FINALLY

Well, Conner has finally started walking places. He still crawls some places, but his main mode is walking. Poor thing, he looks like a drunk walking around...lol

Uh oh

Conner has now started saying Uh oh for everything. Not just when he drops things. Its too cute.

Repeating

Conner was watching Mickey Mouse Club House (Getting him ready for Disney World...lol) and Mickey was telling the kids to say the password to get in, "Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse" and then he said say it with me. Conner made a noise like he was trying to say it with Mickey....lol

Memorial Day

Today we went to Waterville, USA in Gulf Shores and had a blast. Conner loved the water. He fell asleep on his daddy while they were in the lazy river. Then we went to Nanny's house and ate hamburgers, hotdogs, and watermelon.

First Hair Cut

Conner had his first hair cut today. I was a bundle of nerves getting it done too. I don't think I want to get it cut again. This cut, cut all of his curls off. :o(
...and I forgot to get one of his curls to keep.

Steps

Conner to took steps unassissted last night. He was walking between daddy and mommy.

Horse

Conner can tell me what the horse says. I'll ask him and then he does the plbbt thing with his lips. Very cute. Now he can tell me what the horse and the dog says.

The Moon

Conner can point out the moon. Tonight I asked him where the moon was and he pointed right to it.

Happy and you know it...

Conner now does the hand motions to "If You're Hapy and You Know It" while I sing. Its so cute, espcially when I get to the "and your face will surely show it" part. He puts his hand up to his face like the kid from Home Alone...lol

Conner's Second First Birthday Party

We had Conner's big birthday party at our church fellowship hall. We rented a space walk for the big kids to jump in. Conner jumped in it as well and had a blast!

Conner's First Birthday

We celebrated Conner's first birthday at Grayton Beach, FL. We went camping with Amanda, Chad, and Shelby and Darlena, Chris, Kristen and Tanner. We had a lot of fun at the beach. We had a cookie cake and a shrimp boil for Conner's first birthday. (Conner ate weenies!)

Saying Daddy

Conner now can say Daddy, not Dada, but Daddy. It is so cute. He drags it out so its like DaaDeee.

Conner's first Easter

We went to church and then came home and had lunch with Meme, Paw Paw, Nanny, Aunt Ramona, Uncle Stephen and Brian. Conner and Brian hunted Easter eggs and Conner found 2 prize eggs. (So did Brian.) Conner had his first peep! He loved it.

He pulled up!!!

Conner finally pulled up. I was sitting on the ottoman and he was doing his army crawl to me. Well, next thing I know, he gets on his hand and knees (something he's never done) and starts trying to pull up on the ottoman to get to me! He's getting so big! :o)

Another tooth!!!

Mommy discovered another tooth trying to come through today! This will make 5 teeth! Paw Paw says I'm getting ready for steak! mmmm

Patty Cake

Conner is now playing patty cake. When we sing he starts clapping. It is soo precious!

Conner's First New Year

Conner welcomed in the New Year with some sparklers. It was very foggy. Mommy went in to the front yard and lit some sparklers so Conner could see. We didn't do much because of him still being sick with RSV. Even though he was sick, he still smiled while he saw the sparklers. We ate New Year's dinner with Meme and Paw Paw.
