Conner's Third Birthday

He had a great day today. He woke up and had two presents to open. One was a tent and the other was Green Eggs and Ham. Billy worked from the house today and had to go to the store and brought back a finger painting set for Conner to do "Art class" (Conner's words) after nap.
This afternoon we took him to May Day Park and he played and played. He's so much like me and LOVES the water. Then we went to TCBY and got a treat.

Potty training the kid

He'll be 3 years old in 6 days and isn't quite potty trained yet. This past weekend he stayed with his Nanny and she was determined she was going to potty train him. :) My philosophy was, "As long as he's trained before he heads off to college." LOL
So, Monday morning I decide to do more intense potty training than what we have been doing which was basically just here and there before.

• Monday wasn't too good. I think we went through about 4 pairs of underwear and that was just before lunch! After nap, I just went back to him wearing a diaper.
• Tuesday was a little better. He only went through 3 pairs of underwear before lunch. Then, after lunch he went to the potty and tt'ed and I put a diaper on him for nap. He woke up from nap (with a dry diaper) and we went straight to the potty and tt'ed again. I was starting to feel like a proud momma, thinking that this wasn't going to be as bad as I thought it was. About 5 minutes later I hear him in his Daddy's office...he had "yucked" in his underwear. Lovely
• Today (Wednesday) he's only had one pair of underwear on ALL day! And he's actually telling me when he needs to go to the potty before he actually goes. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this actually continues.

No more pappy!

Well, we have reached another mileston with Conner. He is no longer taking a pappy (pacifier). We were moving to our new house and took him to his Nanny's house so Billy and I could get some things moved. We picked him up from school and we didn't have any pacifiers with us. He slept all night at his Nanny's without a pacifier and hasn't had one since.

Christmas

Well, this year was a fun Christamas. I think this was the year that Conner actually got the concept of Santa Claus. He had a great picture with him. All he wanted for Christmas was suckers. He kept telling us that. It was really funny.
We went to Aunt Algie and Uncle Buddy's this year and Conner really liked that. He got to feed Uncle Buddy's cows. He was trying to be really friendly to their dogs, but they didn't quite like Conner...lol

His first imaginary friend

Conner has discovered his first (that I know of) imaginary friend. It's Zoom Zoom the Super Bunny. I think this is so precious! I noticed him talking to a spot on the carpet. Then he was showing Zoom Zoom his "rescue pack" from Diego. I asked him if he would bring Zoom Zoom here for me to give a kiss. And he did just that. He went to the spot on the carpet he had been talking to, "picked up" Zoom Zoom in his hand and brought him to me to give a kiss. When I did, Conner said "Thank you." (I'm assuming Zoom Zoom can't talk) then put Zoom Zoom back in the same spot where he picked him up from.
....I've just been informed that Zoom Zoom is in trouble....lol

He can count!!

Well, not really. I am sitting here at the computer doing some work. Conner is sitting on the floor playing with his mega blocks. As he is stacking them on top of each other I hear," sis, emen, sis, emen, sis, emen" (Translation: 6,7,6,7,6,7)LOL
Its funny when he and I count together. I'll say 1 and knows 2 comes after one so he'll say 2. That's not all either. He can count 7,8,9, 10 after I say 6. he amazes me at how much he knows.

Conner's Second Birthday

Today we had Conner's second birthday party. It was neat to actually fall on his actual birthday. Meme came and went to church with us. Then we at lunch at Fire Mountain beause we were short on time. Then we came back to our condo and changed clothes then went to Bay Minette where we had his party at the Kid's Park. We had a lot of fun.
